Carlos Kaduoka

Carlos Kaduoka is a Consulting Director at SITA, passionate about airports and technology with a focus on IT’s impact on operations, processes and behavior. He believes digital transformation creates incredible opportunities that can be seen in passenger behavior, terminal design and the new digital concept of operations.

With over 25 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams around the globe, Carlos has a strong track-record and wide-ranging expertise across complex multi-stakeholder relationship management, benchmarking performance using customer and competitor insight, significant capital investment programs in airport technology deployment, and digital transformation and technology strategy. Having lived and worked in South America, Asia and Europe, Carlos embraces multi-cultural approaches to tackling global aviation challenges.

His academic qualifications include a PhD in Airport Economics and an MSc from Cranfield University, as well as a General Management program at IMD, and a Postgrad in Fin Econ (University of London). Carlos is a member of the Institute for Aviation Research (IAR), an independent, non-profit Think Tank dedicated to aviation research with a focus on China. He is also a lecturer on Aviation Technology at University of Surrey and Cranfield University.
