Samiappa Maheswaran

Sami Maheswaran is an aviation technology leader with 28 years of extensive experience across the Aviation IT industry, spanning both technical and management roles. He spent more than 18 years with Singapore Airlines (SIA), where he held multiple domain expert positions covering Reservations, Ticketing, Inventory and Departure Control, MRO, Flight Operations, Planning and Scheduling, and Airport Operations. On the technology front, Sami served as an Enterprise Architect, leading the design of the SIA Group’s Big Data and Analytics platform, as well as key enterprise solutions for Passenger Tracking and Airport Operations. He also played a central role in overseeing SIA’s multimilliondollar PSS migration program. Sami now serves as a Senior Consultant at SITA, where he provides innovative business and technology solutions to both airport and airline customers, drawing on his deep industry knowledge and handson operational experience.
