Swati Unnikrishnan

Swati brings over 18 years of experience in the air transport industry and currently leads the Consulting, Innovation, and Marketing function for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey at SITA. In this capacity, she is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enable airports, airlines and aviation stakeholders to leverage technology, innovation, and data intelligence to achieve operational excellence and enhanced passenger experiences.

She has extensive expertise in airport systems and has successfully led the implementation of major airport operations programs across the Middle East, India, and Africa. Her work focuses on integrating business strategy with emerging technologies to address industry priorities such as operational efficiency, capacity management, and digital transformation.

Swati holds a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and is a certified Airport Professional under the ACI-AMPAP program. Her approach is grounded in analytical thinking, collaboration, and a focus on measurable outcomes that create sustainable value for customers and the broader air transport community. With a proven track record of leadership and execution across complex environments, she continues to contribute to shaping the future of air travel by aligning innovation with business priorities.
