Stefan drives adjacent market business development in APAC, connecting hotels, ferry terminals, cruise ports, and train stations with airports to create more seamless travel experiences. He is an architect by training—specialized in airport design—and an off-airport experience designer by choice. Stefan joined SITA after leading a successful collaboration at the Singapore University of Technology and Design that yielded the first dedicated off-airport check-in touchpoint, pioneering a new form of academic partnership for SITA to bring innovative concepts to life.

With a strong foundation in human-centred design and a holistic, end-to-end conceptual lens, Stefan injects design thinking into every aspect of travel. He strives for a unique, hard-to-pigeonhole versatility that goes beyond conventional solutions and traditional business development. Covering anything from hardware or even UI design to data collection/analysis, he works both on the ground—spanner in hand—while simultaneously tackling big-picture strategic planning. This allows him to unify thinking across the travel ecosystem, moving beyond siloed approaches to deliver an integrated experience vision that makes travel better for everyone.
