Stefan Schaffner was appointed Senior Vice President of SITA AT AIRPORTS in November 2023.
Stefan oversees the running of SITA’s Airports business, which serves the needs of thousands of airports, airlines and ground handlers across the world, spanning operational and business processes, baggage, and passenger management. He is a seasoned CEO and General Manager with a remarkable history of accomplishments in the information technology and services industry on a global level. He has successfully led global Internet of Things (IoT) and digitalization projects and possesses a wealth of experience in areas such as General Management, Negotiation, Business Development, Sales, Strategic Planning, and Operations Management.
His previous positions include those held at Skidata AG, United Technologies, Johnson Controls and most recently, TBS - Touchless Biometric Systems.
