SITA’s People Team priorities in 2021-2022 and into the future: navigating through change as COVID-19 continues and industry recovery gets underway

Driving diversity throughout SITA, to ensure the company is smarter, more agile, resilient and innovative.

SITA’s People Team kept a sharp focus in three areas throughout the year. First, the continuous adaptation of ways of working to keep employees safe, well and connected, including a hybrid working model.

Second, supporting performance and learning as drivers of SITA’s business success, through learning ownership, more learning touchpoints, and via an ‘Unleash’ program equipping SITA’s people managers and senior leaders to deliver further company success in 2022 and beyond. And third, continuing to drive SITA’s diversity to ensure the company is smarter, agile, resilient, and innovative.

As we look ahead, SITA's People Team team will pave the way to a ‘new normal’, helping the business to re-imagine what the future of work will look like.

Wellbeing

once again sat as a top agenda item for SITA’s HR teams in yet another year of the pandemic, with multiple offerings to support employee mental, physical, social, and financial wellbeing.

 
Talent

development remains a major priority as SITA prepares for future organizational growth and success. The year saw 335 promotions, providing our people with opportunities to develop.

Leadership

in SITA remains a central pillar of setting direction, navigating uncertainty, and building teams to create opportunities for growth and development. 2021 saw around 300 participants enrol in SITA’s ‘Unleash’ people manager program, with more cohorts in the pipeline.

webinars

delivered over the year, 80+ fitness sessions, and two SITA global challenges – the SITA Olympics and World Tracer tour – with over 700 participants.

of SITA’s population engaged in the company’s wellbeing activities, with the well at work program delivering more than 22 events in total and engaging around 1,160 participants.
