As the leader in air cargo IT, CHAMP Cargosystems offers solutions to optimize efficiencies for customers in the global air cargo supply chain, with a commitment to provide further value to the industry in the years ahead.

CHAMP Cargosystems aims to achieve operational excellence for the entire air cargo supply chain, globally, under a new mantra for the years ahead: ‘Open, collaborative, and innovative.’

Collaborating with industry players, CHAMP will continue to migrate customers to its digital air cargo ecosystem, while offering Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to exploit apps and industry data.

Through 2021, CHAMP further grew its air cargo community of airlines, general sales agents, general handling agents, and over 3,000 connected forwarders – the largest air cargo community in the world

CHAMP’s focus on innovation and co-creation with air cargo community customers persisted through the pandemic. It will do so for years to come, as the company’s renowned expertise continues to be sought after for collaborations to achieve new operational successes across the world’s air cargo supply chain.

acquired by the end of 2021, with over 230 contracts signed for new and ongoing services, including signings by Japan Airlines, Cargologic, CargoSoft, Central Global Cargo, Gulf Air, Billund Airport, Aviance Ghana, LATAM, Caribbean Airlines Cargo, and more.

cargo handling agents featured among multiple customers embracing CHAMP’s Cargospot Mobile application across their stations worldwide in 2021.

World Flight
Services

(WFS) moved its handling operations to CHAMP’s SaaS Cargospot Handling service in 2021 while taking on Cargospot Mobile services, as part of its digital roadmap. This further strengthens the long-term partnership between WFS and CHAMP. Likewise, ECS Group opted for SaaS Cargospot.

Cargospot
advances

in the year also included the launch of a multi-tenant model, with easy centralized updates and maintenance for all users, along with a Cargospot Airline interface refresh, and other developments.

e-Learning

services catalog for CHAMP customers expanded, with 2021 business travel at a minimum. Made available through CHAMP Academy with 24/7 access to resources for efficient and flexible remote training.

for finance and commercial teams through the launch of Cargospot Revenue Monitor, providing real-time visibility of cash flow, sales, and revenue trends using the airway bill data available in Cargospot.

gained from CHAMP’s MarketAnalytics 2021 pilot with customers for launch in 2022. It integrates the most powerful intelligence tools for daily updates and in-depth information, using dashboards and sourcing data from across the market. The launch caught the attention of carriers and forwarders, large and small.

More APIs

provided through CHAMP’s Application Programming Interface (API) Gateway for easy access to cargo marketplaces, including cargo.one, CargoAI and Webcargo, as well as to CRM applications, such as Salesforce. Further services are in the pipeline.

A new partner
program

is part of CHAMP’s API focus, for launch in 2022, as a collaborative initiative to develop apps for its Cargospot ecosystem.

EU Import
Control

System 2 (ICS 2) implementation underway as a large-scale advance cargo information system across the European Union, which CHAMP prepared for in 2021.

Customs
authorities

around the world continued to work closely with CHAMP in 2021, for Advance Commercial Information (ACI) filing through its Traxon Global Customs solution. 2022 is expected to bring new customs regulations in Brazil, Chile, and other.
