Sumesh Patel was appointed President, Asia Pacific in January 2017.
Sumesh is responsible for developing and driving the strategic direction of SITA in the region, where he has guided teams in the design and implementation of major IT initiatives to meet the exacting needs of Asia Pacific’s leading airlines and airports.
Prior to this role, he was Vice-President of Business Management, Asia Pacific at SITA. Sumesh joined SITA as an engineer in Mumbai, moving to sales in South Asia before working in both the communications and airport business at SITA.
Sumesh holds an Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore. He is based in Singapore.
