Overview
Reservations, a fully-hosted ASP service, is used by more than 130 airlines worldwide and is fully integrated with Revenue Management, Departure Control Services, Ticketing and Airfare Price.

Reservations modules
Reservations Booking module
Reservations helps airlines manage the cost of delivering mission-critical reservations services, including bookings made at airline and partner sales offices, through GDSs, travel distributors and online consumer sites. This module has an extensive and flexible group booking package.
Reservations Inventory Management module
Manage Yield: This module offers robust and flexible inventory management techniques at the leg, segment and O & D level either independently or interfacing through a revenue management system. It offers sophisticated nesting capabilities – serial, dual, parallel and hybrid nesting features. Married segment controls are also available. SITA Reservation has extensive and industry leading point of sales capabilities.

Reservations Distribution module
1) Partner interoperability: Compliance with alliance requirements for Interline e-ticketing, frequent flyer validation and redemption, tier recognition of customers at all touchpoints and preferential treatment. Simple code share set up and maintenance, supports alpha and numeric AVS; Partner Access - seamless connectivity for airline agents and code share partners, with real-time last seat availability including interactive segment sell, view and reserve seats in partner’s seat map.
2) Distribution: Direct online and indirect online sales, indirect offline and interline sales. E-commerce interfaces include an ASP portal, customized e-commerce platform and Web Services API. Flexible call centre interface. Provides sophisticated point-of-sales controls and connectivity to all GDSs.
