Overview

SITA’s Passenger iCheck is a next-generation, self-service check-in application for kiosks and the Web. It provides an integrated approach to implementing and managing check-in processes. 

Passenger iCheck enables airlines to respond quickly to operational adjustments by making and scheduling their own standard configuration changes using an intuitive web-based configuration console. Also daily transaction data is available for analysis, helping you make decisions both about your services and any changes to Passenger iCheck.

How it Works

Passenger iCheck is pre-developed and pre-tested, removing risk from the development process. Airlines complete a questionnaire describing how they want to use Passenger iCheck. They then receive a branded application, delivered as a software-as-a-service, from SITA’s next-generation data center.

  • Application framework including the following elements:
    • Business process library
    • Graphical elements library (buttons, passport animation, seat map, etc.)
    • Standard screen templates (designed for ease of use)
    • Text libraries (available in multiple languages)
  • Host Abstraction Layer (HAL - connection to the appropriate departure control system using web services)
  • Customer console (secure, web-based tool)
  • Business Process Analytics Database (BPAD) - passenger transactions results recording and analysis
