Most steps of the passenger journey are positive experiences for most passengers. But there is ongoing frustration with long queues at security and bag carousels. SITA QueueAnalyzer monitors and predicts queue-times at key airport chokepoints, allowing airport operators to proactively allocate resources and staff to improve operational efficiency and the passenger experience.

Combining historical and real-time data with powerful algorithms, QueueAnalyzer delivers highly accurate wait-time predictions. It provides automated metrics for performance, trending, and service level reporting.

It also supports the integration of cameras and Wi-Fi sensors for passenger throughput figures and input into wait-time algorithms. The results can be displayed in real-time to passengers on screens, websites, and mobile applications.

How it helps

SITA QueueAnalyzer provides airport operators with a better understanding of the amount of time passengers spend queuing. Armed with this information, the airport can take proactive steps to improve efficiency, enhance the passenger experience, and increase non-aeronautical revenues. This is achieved with measuring queue times against service level agreements (SLAs) and integration into manpower planning systems.

As a component of our Day of Operations BI solution, QueueAnalyzer utilizes SITA’s unique BI portal (AirportPulse) to provide key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards and a single point-of-access to services, culminating in complete, end-to-end situational awareness across the airport.
