Integrated Traffic Management | SITA

Overview

SITA’s Integrated Traffic Management combines Riverbed’s optimization technology and SITA’s proven managed service model to accelerate your applications and traffic.

Integrated Traffic Management optimizes your critical applications, such as departure control services (DCS) and reservation protocols, as well as traffic, so that bandwidth capacity is always available. It also optimizes enterprise applications that are latency and bandwidth sensitive, ensuring end-user performance regardless of whether they are sourced in-house, from software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers, or from SITA’s Air Transport Industry (ATI) Cloud.

Integrated Traffic Management facilitates server consolidation through local hosting of applications in your outstations.

How it works

Integrated Traffic Management uses market-leading Riverbed WAN Optimization Controller technology to give your airline the best communication platform at airports, remote offices and data centers. SITA is one of the few Riverbed Global partners to have been awarded the Riverbed Authorized Service Provider (RASP) status.

Integrated Traffic Management provides full access to applications such as Altea telematics, Microsoft SharePoint and SAP business solutions, wherever you are. It integrates seamlessly with other SITA communication services such as AirportHub™, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Regional Internet Gateway.
