Ron Reed

Ron Reed is Director, Business Intelligence Portfolio, for SITA’s Airport Solution Line (ASL). His responsibilities include developing, implementing and deploying the portfolio strategy and ownership of innovation activities for ASL

Ron joined SITA in 2000 and has enjoyed several different marketing roles. Prior to this, he worked in similar roles with Delta Airlines and Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Company.

Ron holds an MBA in Finance from Kennesaw State University in the United States. He also enjoys various professional accreditations and memberships such as the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program (AMPAP), American Management Association (AMA), Six Thinking Hats Certification and various strategic planning certifications. Ron is based in Atlanta.

By getting a better understanding of passenger behavior, airports can increase loyalty by providing the right message at the right time to the right customers. They can ease pressure on the ground by putting services and information in the palm of the user’s hand, lessening the need for total service fulfillment at the point of sale.
