Registration is now open!

This is a two-day event that acts as the most important meeting point in Mexico for cybersecurity experts and IT professionals from the private and public sectors. It aims at driving and enhancing conversations by delivering a high-quality educational program around key insights and best practices on data protection, cyber threats identification and management, adoption of new technologies for cyberdefense and more.

SITA participation

SITA is proud to announce that Reed Exhibitions, organizer of InfoSecurity Summit, has requested Murtaza Nisar, SITA’s Cybersecurity Lead in the Americas, to host a plenary session on May 23 from 10 to 11h CST entitled ‘Managing Security in a Distributed World – An Airline Case Study’.

Managing Security in a Distributed World

Branch offices, telecommuting employees, field technicians, remote sales and call centers - today, most companies have a workforce that is distributed. Technology practices such as cloud adoption, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), and Software Defined Networking (SDN) have greatly accelerated this distribution. Along with this, security stands out as a critical piece of this digital transformation. In the first part of this session, we will discuss digital transformation use cases and the security technologies that are enabling such transformation. We will then walkthrough a case study of an airline’s digital transformation journey and how the airline improved its overall security maturity while managing costs effectively.

Certifications, labs and exhibitions

This workshop-oriented participation is in tune with presenters from Interpol and Microsoft, and will allow attendees to get certification credits in order to progress in their knowledge and expertise of cybersecurity.

In addition, 6 technology labs will be held for a deeper dive on more specific security topics and insights, and an exhibition area will be open to the public.
