Virtually worldwide, low cost carriers are the growth engine within the airline business. Low cost carriers now account for more than one in four airline seats worldwide, within Southeast Asia close to three in five seats are now produced by low cost carriers.

SITA is pleased to be a foundation partner in the inaugural CAPA Low Cost Carriers Airports Congress, hosted by Airports of Thailand and AirAsia on 15 September. This one-day summit aims to create awareness on low cost carriers needs and airport priorities, and help bridge the gaps that exist between stakeholders - creating conditions for a win-win in Asian aviation and beyond. Join us at the Smart Airport panel where we will discuss how "smart", technology-driven cost-efficient airports can support cost and operational requirements of both full service carriers and low cost carriers.
