Airport Solutions Mexico 2017 is a two-day exhibition and conference platform to be held on 3-4 May 2017 at the Centro Citibanamex, Mexico City. It is expected to attract more than 2,000 B2B buyers and 200 delegates. Looking at this potential, Mexico presents an exciting opportunity not to be missed for many reasons. A major program of airport expansion is currently being planned. This includes a US$170m airport infrastructure renewal program and a brand new state-of-the-art airport in Mexico City with an estimated cost of US$9.2bn and rising. Passenger demand and current capacity limitations make Mexico a hub for airport expansion and development. With these significant airport projects and investment plans, Airport Solutions Mexico will provide a much-needed platform for the burgeoning airports industry in Mexico and Latin America. I will bring together the entire buying chain of the airport solutions industry.

SITA is the event’s silver sponsor and will be at booth with no. 220 on the exhibition floor. As a thought leader, SITA will participate in the conference program as part of a panel discussion on passenger experience with Elbson Quadros, our VP for Latin America (4 May 11:20 AM CST). We will also hold a seminar on the exhibition floor with Uriel Torres on how our technology, innovations and expertise as an IT specialist will contribute to the future of the air transport industry (time TBC).
