Michel Najarian Montreal

Software Developer Intern

Most importantly, what I have done so far has been significant work, work that I’m proud to show.

The most important lesson that I’ve learned so far is that there is no shame in asking. I was always afraid that my question might be disregarded and my colleagues might think poorly of me, but this never happened.

My internship

I’m Michel Georges Najarian, an intern at SITAONAIR from May 1st to December 22nd. I’m part of the OSS BSS team as a Software Developer. I’ve been developing a tool called the Aircraft Event Log (or AEL) as part of my project. This tool is made to monitor aircraft that have our technologies on board and to receive all kind of information. The AEL needed to be updated since we have implemented new satellite technologies.

So far, I have extremely enjoyed my time at SITAONAIR. I was welcomed from the first day and I’ve been learning a lot. Most importantly, what I have done so far has been significant work, work that I’m proud to show.

The most important lesson that I’ve learned so far is that there is no shame in asking. I was always afraid that my question might be disregarded and my colleagues might think poorly of me, but this never happened. My colleagues have all been great, welcoming and have shown that SITAONAIR is an incredible work environment. I can’t describe enough how amazing this company is.
