Stephane is Ventures & Innovation Manager at SITA Lab, based in Geneva. Within SITA Lab, Stephane manages several technology research projects for the airline and airport industry using technologies ranging from artificial intelligence, blockchain, IoT and robotics.
In 2015 Stephane was asked to set-up and lead SITA Ventures, a tech travel venture arm for investments in start-ups. Generated a deal-flow of over 30, completed due diligences and closed a few investments.
Before that, Stephane launched the first wearable trial in the travel industry using Google Glass with Virgin Atlantic. At the same time he managed several “Internet of Things” trials using beacons in airports and the launch of the Airport Beacon Registry.
He has led other disruptive innovations like the first in-flight cabin crew tablet application, the first augmented reality mobile application displaying airline deals, the first in-flight mobile application with British Airways and the first Social Network Booking Engine on Facebook.
Stephane holds a Harvard University graduate Certificate in Applied Sciences & Information Systems and an undergraduate degree in Economics/Management from University of Montreal.
Stephane is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
