Overview

SITA’s BagMessage is a fully managed and secure baggage distribution service, providing airlines and airports with a single worldwide solution for baggage messaging.

BagMessage is the standard interface between airline departure control systems (DCSs) and airline and airport baggage systems. It simplifies the process, reducing the number of communications that each airline and airport requires.

How it works

BagMessage offers a fully redundant bi-directional connection through which the airline DCS and airport baggage system communicate.

BagMessage allows airlines and airports to connect over MQ or TCP/IP on IP-VPN legacy protocols.
