But how do passengers feel about these trends? Have they eased the pinch points in the passenger journey?
Last year’s survey investigated the role and impact of IT on the passenger experience.
This year, the 10th annual Passenger IT Trends Survey, cosponsored by Air Transport World and SITA, extends the scope to get a better understanding of the connection between technology use by passengers at different stages of their journey and their emotions at those stages. In doing so, we provide a guide to the level of passenger satisfaction – and how technology impacts it.

Findings are based on an online survey of nearly 6,000 respondents from 17 countries across the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. All responses occurred in Q1 2015 and referred to travel between December 2014 and March 2015.
