CIO, Denver International Airport

Robert Kastelitz is the chief information officer of Denver International Airport (DEN), North America’s 5th busiest airport. He serves as the principal advisor to the manager of aviation for information management, cyber security and communications systems critical to airport operations. His information technology career includes more than a decade of experience in executive and key senior leadership roles in high-profile government and commercial organizations such as the Nevada Supreme Court, Avaya and Lucent Technologies.

He leads a team focused on delivering a better airport experience, today and tomorrow. He and his team thoughtfully design and implement solutions and systems that make it easy and fast for passengers to connect between concourses and enjoy a diversity of offerings and experiences. His current priorities include large-scale upgrades of aging airport infrastructure, cyber infrastructure and virtualization.
