Mobility Access

Outsource your mobility requirements and concentrate on your core business

With expert end-to-end management for all your mobile needs, Mobility Access keeps your staff connected, your costs more visible and predictable and your end users satisfied.

Overview

Mobile workers require reliable and secure access to corporate applications and messaging while they are on the move. Previously this was achieved through low bandwidth (dial-up) access, principally from fixed locations where ISDN or traditional telephone connections were available. However, more recent technology advances have seen the proliferation of public WiFi services at airports, hotels, restaurants and other public places, allowing workers to wirelessly connect to the internet or their corporate network.

This convenience is not without challenges, such as accurately tracking WiFi access costs, the security of corporate networks and the compatibility of remote access services with existing hardware and software.

Mobility Access is a global mobile access solution specifically designed to meet the needs of the air transport industry. It reduces the complexity of managing remote access requirements by offering a single global contract which covers dial-up access, public WiFi, broadband and mobile data (including GPRS and 3G) options.

Users access corporate applications and data from any location by using the SITA Mobility iPassConnect software dialer. Single sign-on simplifies administration. Once the connection is established, users can specify which applications they want launched.
