SITA's Marketplace - Air, a facility within Reservations, allows customers to now seamlessly connect to a global distribution system (GDS) for access to non-SITA carrier inventory on a real-time basis.
Overview
Marketplace - Air provides access to a robust source of multi-carrier inventory for sale by an airline's own reservations agents and "sponsored" partner travel distributors equipped with access to Reservations.
Marketplace - Air allows agents to book seats on the host airline in Reservations as they do today, plus they can now purchase additional air segments on other airlines to provide a complete itinerary for customers on demand.
