SITA FleetPlan offers complete schedule creation and management.
Overview
SITA FleetPlan covers the complete spectrum of schedule planning – from initial creation through medium- and short-term processes through handover to Operations Control and the historical management of airport slots.
SITA FleetPlan:
- Is available by direct access from the flight bars, or through simple dropdown menus
- Has a graphical interface that provides maximum amount of information
- Validates schedules as they are created, and for later changes, with airport hours and restrictions
- Distributes schedules in IATA standard format to other departments and/or external organizations
- Simulates changes without affecting main schedule
*A special version of FleetPlan is available during the bi-annual IATA Scheduling Conference. It will provide immediate access to information and allow the impact of proposed changes to be fully analyzed.

SITA FleetPlan includes the following features.
Schedule creation
- Add new schedules for periodic flight operations and one-off flights quickly and accurately
- Optimize rotation patterns
- Validate schedules with airport hours and restrictions
Schedule distribution
- Supports creation of industry standard formats, including SSIM files and Working Timetable (WTT), as well as internal company formats
- Issues flight plan to other departments, such as crew planning and maintenance
- Submits final schedules to FleetWatch, SITA's operations control system, to complete the aircraft assignment process
Slot management (SCR)
- Formats and distributes requests and responses from airport coordinators
- Maintains information about historical slots
- Enables slots historical and non-historical list (SHL) to be loaded
- Facilitates validation with airline's record
Schedule management
- Allows periodic and ad hoc changes
- Communicates changes immediately to other systems and departments
- Updates in parallel with FleetWatch - and vice versa

Airport information
FleetWatch shares an airport database with FleetWatch, which is available for use within the system and for reference purposes. The information in this database includes:
- Airport codes
- Location
- Opening hours
- Curfews
- Various address and contact details
- Required turnaround times for each aircraft used in the construction of optimal rotation patterns
