ASC X12 to SPEC 2000 Conversion
This EDI conversion service exchanges data automatically between the ASC X12 and SPEC 2000 EDI trading standards. The service allows you to choose the EDI standard and methodology that best suits your business.
The conversion service immediately increases your trading opportunities, as you can still communicate over the SITA EQUANT Network with organizations who use the alternative standard. All conversions between EDI syntax, message transport and connection types are carried out transparently.
EDI Clearing House
EDI Clearing House (ECH) offers business communities an efficient and secure framework for electronic commerce and trade. It provides a mailbox-based system offering “clearing house” features.
The above features include access using a number of communication protocols, transaction logging, control of interchange rules, and secure delivery of electronic documents encoded according to international EDI standards.
The service is based on open standards architecture, through its UNIX operating system platform and integration to X.400.
All EDI traffic is switched and notified directly through the mechanisms supported by X.400, enabling external X.400 users to be incorporated transparently on the system.
ECH users are serviced by one, or more, service mailboxes, which can either store incoming EDI traffic until the recipient is ready to receive it, transmit the traffic to the user on a pre-arranged timetabled basis, or transmit the traffic immediately to the user.
