Safety in the air - Jamaica, 28-29 January
Safety in the air gives the aeronautical community committed to the ICAO GREPECAS and Global Plan CNS/ATM roadmap exposure to new technologies and worldwide development. SITA invited well-recognized worldwide ADS-B experts from FAA, industry partners ERA and Frequentis, a customer testimonial from DECEA Brazil and IATA.
CIFAL - Atlanta, April 1-2
SITA sponsored another edition of CIFAL program, focused on the Caribbean region. CIFAL Atlanta is the North American Center for the Training of Local Authorities and Civil Society Leaders of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Decentralized Cooperation Program. SITA has been supporting CIFAL Airport Series for 5 years in a row. The "Airports for Economic Development Engines" global program includes 5 seminars with training sessions, demonstrations, tours, and showcases with a regional focus on Latin America, Caribbean, Brazil, Africa and Asia, facilitating the creation of viable regional and global alliances. Mark Gallagher presented during the workshop, which took place in Atlanta - April 01 - 03. Delegates experienced SITA technologies in our Demo Center in Atlanta.
