Airline and Airport IT Trends Surveys
Over the past 11 years, the Airline IT Trends Survey, an independent poll of senior IT personnel working for the top 200 passenger carriers, has seen a steady rise in responses. The 2009 survey has once again attracted a good spread of industry opinions: 117 airlines responded, including 11% classified as low cost carriers, and with 27% of respondent airlines carrying more than 20 million passengers annually.
Thanks to all of you who have contributed to this valuable industry tool by responding to the survey - and please note that all 2009 survey respondents automatically receive the CD free of charge.
You can purchase the complete 2009 Airline IT Trends Survey on CD. This provides responses to all survey questions, together with supporting commentary. While individual replies remain strictly confidential, results are broken down by geography and airline size, with results weighted by revenue and passenger numbers to provide industry averages.
Please also note that the Airport IT Trends Survey closed in mid-August with more than 100 airports responding. We are analysing responses now, and the report will be available later this year.

Webcasts and Webinars: Passenger Self-Service Survey 2009
Approximately 630 people registered for the 8th October Webinar, organized by ATW to present the 2009 Passenger Self-Service Survey, and feedback from attendees shows real interest.
The Webinar is still available for download at event.on24.com.
More than 80 different nationalities flying on over 100 different airlines are represented in this survey, which provides unique insight into passengers' experiences and expectations. The survey involved 2,193 passengers, whom SITA interviewed earlier this year at the gates of six of the world's busiest airports.
