Spotlight on Indian aviation
The Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), in collaboration with SITA, has published a new white paper entitled 'Information Technology in Indian Aviation'. Its findings are based on extensive interviews with senior management and technology executives across airlines, airports and government.
As Indian aviation enters its next growth phase, and with a greater role for IT in the industry, the paper aims to offer a clear understand of how the industry in India views technology. SITA has been actively involved with the air transport community in India for over 50 years.
With the country poised for more growth, there will be challenges. The new report sheds further light on how the industry can progress and transform itself through IT.
