IATA approves new CUPPS standard and SITA wins certification
It's official. SITA is now the first platform provider to be certified as being compliant with CUPPS (Common Use Passenger Processing Systems) version 1.01 since IATA published the first CUPPS Technical Specification in November 2009, setting a new standard for passenger processing in the 21st century.
Italian carrier Wind Jet selects SITA to meet EU ETS requirements
Italian low-cost Wind Jet has chosen SITA's Aircraft Emissions Manager. AEM is the world's only Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) software tool specially designed to measure accurately carbon emissions and fuel burn in Tonne-Kilometres as per new EU requirements.
Spain and Portugal partner with SITA to meet 2013 data link deadline
SITA is partnering with the Spanish and Portuguese Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP) to deliver data link infrastructure for pre-operational testing in preparation for the introduction of Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) across the Iberian Peninsula by 2013.
