Since our Messaging services are impacted by all and any evolution in community processes, we are well-positioned to measure their impact and progress.
ATI messaging application - e-freight
The long-term vision for the cargo industry is to eliminate the need to produce and transport all paper for all stakeholders. Before the paper can be removed from the transport process, however, e-freight stakeholders must have confidence in the quality of the data in those messages. Today, that confidence does not exist.
Messaging technology
With the rise of the Internet, a number of Web 'languages' have evolved - notably HyperText Markup Language (HTML) - culminating in the definition of eXtensible Markup Language (XML) by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
SITA Messaging portfolio
Rather than simply being a postman, SITA is now looking to evolve the Messaging service by adding a layer of intelligence about the needs of message-sending applications. This will both ensure and demonstrate that message exchanges are a great value creator for airline business processes.
