SITA is organizing an AIRCOM seminar for Middle East and North Africa at the Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul on 28-29 January, 2009.

During this seminar, our customers will receive new information on SITA's existing AIRCOM Services, with a specific focus on what is being done in the Middle East and North Africa to address the needs we have identified from our regional customers. We will provide an update on our recent AIRCOM portfolio improvements (including AIRCOM cockpit services over IP, Flight Sentry Display and AIRCOM services over Iridium). This seminar will also enable us to address any comment or concern that our customers may have on our products and services.

Wednesday 28 January

AIRCOM Services

We will look at the latest AIRCOM Service developments, review operational matters, present our plans for VHF deployment in the region and explain what SITA is putting in place to offer a viable Satellite AIRCOM back-up solution.

AIRCOM IP

We will provide an overview of the new services that AIRCOM is offering to help customers maximize the potential and enhance the security of the new technologies and increasingly complex applications that will rely on IP-based communications to support airline operations.

AIRCOM Iridium

We have recently added to our aircraft communications portfolio AIRCOM's Iridium voice and datalink services. This session will cover the specific needs of the Air Transport Industry as well as an update on the process towards the acceptance of Iridium for ATS, FANS and ATN communications.

AIRCOM Server

We will present the latest developments on AIRCOM Server, including our new flight monitoring tool (AIRCOM Flight Sentry Display) and Fuel Conservation Monitor option.
