S7 links to 530 airlines in real-time

S7, Russia's largest domestic airline, has become the first carrier to implement SITA Marketplace-Air. The solution enables the airline's sales agents, partner travel agents and customers booking on its website, to access and book last seat availability on 530 airlines through SITA Reservations.

SITA partnered with Travelport GDS, one of the world's leading GDS providers operating both the Galileo and Worldspan platforms, to provide S7 with extensive access to the content from over 400 additional airlines. The solution is now being made available to other carriers hosted on SITA Reservations.

The new technology ensures agents can service a passenger's itinerary end-to-end. It also provides agents and customers using the S7 website with extended real-time access to other airlines' seat maps, inventory availability and seat reservation capabilities.
