Nick Fadugba

African Airlines Association (AFRAA)
Nick Fadugba is the Secretary General of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA). He was elected to the post in November, 2009, and took office in February, 2010. Since 1988, he has provided a wide range of consultancy services and advice to African and international airlines, as well as to aviation, finance and insurance companies and some Governments. He established African Aviation Services (AAS) in 1990 with a Pan-African vision and with the raison d'etre of promoting aviation development in Africa.
He helped pioneer international aviation conferences specifically tailored for Africa and also helped pioneer African aviation publishing with the launch of AFRICAN AVIATION Magazine in 1990, helping to give Africa a more positive image internationally.
In December, 2003, AFRAA nominated Nick Fadugba for an Individual Achievement Award for his "Outstanding Contribution to the African Aviation Industry." The Award was presented to Mr Fadugba in Tripoli, Libya, by the Head of State of Libya, Col. Muammar Gaddafi, on behalf of AFRAA.
