IATA approves new CUPPS standard
SITA has become the first platform provider to be certified as compliant with CUPPS (Common Use Passenger Processing Systems) version 1.01 since IATA published the first CUPPS technical specification in November 2009. The decision will set a new standard for passenger processing.
CUPPS will gradually replace the CUTE (Common Use Terminal Equipment) check-in and boarding standard.
