AVSEC World 2011
Securing the future
IATA's premier annual aviation security and facilitation conference will celebrate its 20th Edition this year with Amsterdam hosting for the first time. AVSEC World gathers global leaders and senior decision makers to discuss strategies and solution-seeking opportunities for the aviation industry.
Screening of both passengers and cargo is about process, policy, and intelligence as much as it is about technology. But future technologies will enable us to improve our airline and airport business processes, support our efforts in knowing more about passengers, and meet the vital policy objectives of governments.
Join us at RAI Convention Center, Amsterdam
Thomas Marten, Vice President Government and Security Solutions, SITA, will be presenting on day 2 at 14.00 in the session "The Future Technologies - Science Fact, Not Science Fiction," providing a vision of how technology will change the aviation security paradigm.
The conference is a two-and-a-half day event which will look to the future, building a vision for security to meet the challenges of growing passenger numbers and ever-changing threats. It will consider what is possible in the near term, and how we can design and build processes and solutions for the long term.
