AMPAP

SITA has been the Premier Sponsor of the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP) since its launch in 2007. AMPAP is a groundbreaking professional development initiative of Airports Council International (ACI) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It aims to develop airport managers through a curriculum that covers all functional areas of the airport business in key areas such as operations, security, finance, commercial management and airport development while promoting adherence to the highest professional standards and while expanding communication among airport executives globally to optimize the sharing of best practices among the world's airports.

Successful completion of the six-course AMPAP curriculum leads to the issuance of the International Airport Professional (IAP) designation - the only international accreditation for airport executives worldwide. Graduates are recognized by ACI and ICAO as having achieved highly rigorous standards for expertise in the field of airport management.
