El Dorado International in Bogota chooses AirportConnect Open to meet its passenger processing challenge
To cope with increasing demand and create capacity to handle 16 million passengers a year, El Dorado International Airport is undergoing a US$ 650 million modernization and expansion programme.
Part of this programme is the implementation of SITA's AirportConnect Open passenger processing system, including 151 Common Use Terminal Equipment desks and 12 self-service kiosks. Thanks to the new technology, the airlines at El Dorado are saving between 60% and 70% service time and long lines at check-in are now a thing of the past.
